Amy has worked at Architype since 2015, she has previous experience working on residential projects and in community participation. She is currently working on a new Passivhaus secondary school in London, and is also undertaking research into community participation and co-design.
Amy is interested in permaculture and it’s possible applications within architecture as well as it’s wider reaching, ‘beyond sustainability’ principles and ethics. She has completed her Permaculture Design Certificate and is looking forward to utilising these skills within the practice.
Amy completed both her Part I and Part II at the Manchester School of Architecture. She gained her Part III/Advanced Diploma in Professional Practice at RIBA North West in 2012. Amy now also works one day a week at the Manchester School of Architecture as a design studio tutor for third year students.
