Anna is an architect with significant experience in community engagement, co-design and design education, with adults, children and young people.

She has a particular interest in low-energy and sustainable design and has worked on a range of Architype projects including Mulberry Academy London Dock, a major Passivhaus school in London, and a new learning centre for The Royal Parks

Anna has experience of architectural work in cultural, schools - primary, secondary and SEN - and in the sports and residential sectors in Ireland. She has participated several times in Architecture in Schools programmes in London and Dublin with Open House and the Irish Architecture Foundation. Prior to working as an architect Anna co-ordinated design competitions for the Architecture Foundation, giving her a deep understanding of articulating and addressing client needs through a brief. She also managed community consultation for projects in Tower Hamlets.

Education

Anna completed her undergraduate degree in Queen’s University, Belfast. Her postgraduate Part 2 studies were at London Metropolitan University and she received her Part 3 from Westminster University.

Anna has been an examiner for the MEng course at Nottingham University and is currently undertaking a distance learning course on best practice in deep Carbonlite retrofit.
