Architect & Chartered Engineer

Christian has a passion for low carbon design, and is uniquely qualified as both an Architect and Chartered Engineer (with CIBSE).
Christian has worked for Architype since 2004, on a wide range of educational projects including a variety of Children's Centers and primary schools including the award winning Gower School. He is currently part of the team designing The Exemplary Low Carbon Enterprise Centre at the University of East Anglia. He has used his technical skills on several research projects including Post Occupancy Evaluation and developing the RAPIERE embodied carbon analysis software tool. Christian is also active in community work, and brings his experience of community involvement and inclusive design to his projects.
Christian studied the MEng Architecture and Environmental Design at the University of Nottingham, and his Part II & Part III at London Metropolitan University. He qualified as an Architect in 2011, and as a Chartered Engineer in 2013.
Christian also gives occasional lectures on materials at the Architectural Association, London and is acting as an examiner at for the MEng course at Nottingham University.
