Lydia is a part II architectural assitant who has recently returned to Architype since completing her masters degree.
At Architype, Lydia has gained experience in a range of project sectors including residential, education, commercial and healthcare. She is currently working in collaboration with the London office, focussed on a large scale and complex Passivhaus housing development in the city.
Lydia has excellent BIM and Revit skills, and is currently initiating a new strategy for training in Architype. She is also currently teaching Revit skills at Birmingham City University.
Lydia undertook her Part I in Architecture at the University of Bath, graduating in 2013. Her thesis project focussed on alternative schooling for at risk children. During her Part II Studies, at Birmingham University, Lydia was drawn to studying alternative housing typologies including co-housing, CLTs, flexible and affordable housing.
