Mark joined Architype in 2004, initially working on the Creative Disability Media Centre project at 56 Southwark Bridge Road, previously an historic Victorian library.
After relocating to Sheffield he jointly set up Studio Polpo, a social enterprise architectural practice working primarily on arts and third sector projects, and more recently, Chopshop, a CNC design and fabrication enterprise. Since leaving London, Mark has continued to work with Architype on a freelance basis on projects including Architype’s third Passivhaus Primary school at Swillington in Leeds, a Passivhaus church project for Christ Church Central in Sheffield, and currently a Cohousing development, also in Sheffield.
Mark completed both his degree and diploma at the University of Sheffield.
As an alumni of the University of Sheffield, Mark has returned and taught part-time for a number of years on both Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes.
