Meital Ben Dayan

Meital has experience of working in architectural practice in the UK, Ireland, California and Israel.
As project architect she has worked on Mandeville and Horsenden Schools, Ealing for Architype, with previous experience of defence force headquarters, governmental offices, pavilions, train stations, sports centers and urban design schemes. In addition to her architectural work, Meital worked as an environmental consultant, on building and site analysis and has been involved in a number of research projects.
Meital completed MSc in Sustainable Environmental Design at the Architectural Association School of Architecture (AA) with Distinction. She completed her RIBA Part III qualifications at University College Dublin (UCD), Ireland. Meital studied architecture at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Israel including student exchange at Southern California School of Architecture (SCI-ARC) in Los Angeles.
Meital has published papers on her research on Environmentally Responsive Primary School Buildings at Passive and Low Energy Architecture (PLEA) Proceeding, and at People and Buildings Conference NCEUB Conference Proceedings. She also presented her research at a PLEA conference in Munich and at the Westminster University and has lectured at the Architectural Association. Meital was part of a team winning an international competition for the design of a primary School extension and refurbishment in Milan. The design was presented at The Innovation Cloud Exhibition in Milan and at Re-Build Conference in Italy. Additional research includes development of housing refurbishment environmental standard and design guidelines for offices for the Israeli Green Building Council (ILGBC) and the Israeli Ministry of Environment.
