Demi joined Architype in September 2021 as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant, based in our Edinburgh studio.

Demi has played a key role in several Architype projects, including assisting in the production of feasibility and RIBA stage reports, producing 3D visualisations and creative illustrations for Beeslack and Currie high schools. Demi has a passion for building conservation and sustainability and is a keen architectural photographer. She enjoys the investigative side of site analysis, problem solving and developing options to resolve design development challenges to create enjoyable spaces.

Education

In 2017 Demi studied a Bachelor of Architecture at the Glasgow School of Art, with a clear love of the architecture within this community. Key projects included “imagining the rebirth of historic buildings at risk across Glasgow”, which held importance, yet were abandoned. Demi also has an MA in Scandinavian Studies and English Literature.
