Elly is a qualified architect who has been working in the field of low energy architecture since she left university in 2005.
Elly initially spent six years working in Bristol where she gained experience working on a range of sustainable projects from award winning public buildings, to sustainable community master plans and pioneering housing developments, including LILAC co-housing.
She was project architect for the Gellideg Foundation’s Wellbeing Centre, a charitable foundation based on a housing estate in Merthyr Tydfil. She has also led a number of housing schemes within the office, most notably the Alderman Moores development for Bristol Council and the Shaldon Road co-housing development for the Bristol Community Land Trust.
Elly graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 2005 and went on to complete her Post Graduate Diploma in Architectural Practice at De Montfort University where she was awarded a distinction and the David Nesbit award in 2007.
