Grace has a passion for the environment and sustainable design, aiming to create a positive state of change for communities.

Grace joined Architype in 2021 as a Part 1 architectural assistant and has since worked on the zero carbon development plan for Plymouth Marjon University and Mulberry Academy London Dock Passivhaus secondary school in central London.

With a keen interest in the visual arts, Grace completed an Art Foundation Diploma where she specialised in 3D and spatial design before beginning her career in architecture. She is highly skilled in developing and presenting architectural concepts in an engaging way.

Education

Grace graduated with a first class architectural degree from Manchester School of Architecture, where she achieved an award for ‘Outstanding Academic Achievement’ and was nominated for the Architects’ Journal Undergraduate Student Prize.

Her final year project was focused on designing for the future. She designed a cinema for the centre of Manchester based on the notion of layers of flexible temporality - the inside is longer-lasting than the external elements.
