Peter joined Architype in 2022 as a Senior Chartered Architectural Technologist bringing a wide variety of experience on projects both domestic and non-domestic and with an exceptional understanding of building regulations.

Peter has over nine years of professional experience within the construction industry, working on projects including new build offices, fire stations and social housing. At a previous practice, Peter worked on the conservation and refurbishment of the Victorian Palm House at the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh. Involvement in such projects has given Peter broad knowledge and experience in all stages of a project from conception to completion, strong technical skills, and a solid grasp of current building standards.

Since joining Architype, Peter has worked on Currie Community High School, as well as Passivhaus housing and continues to offer his expertise in building regulations and construction phases to the team.

Education

Peter graduated from Robert Gordon University with a BSc (Hons) in Architectural Technology. While at university, he spent a semester abroad as part of an Erasmus program studying Architectural Technology and Construction Management at Københavns Erhvervsakademi in Copenhagen, Denmark.
