Portia is the Finance Co-Ordinator for Architype, working with our Head of Finance and Finance Manager to ensure excellent financial health and management of systems for our three studios in London, Hereford and Edinburgh.

She joined Architype in 2019 as Practice Assistant after spending time at college where she worked and studied for her Business Administration apprenticeship. Portia initially provided practice management support to our studio in London, with a particular focus within the finance team and was promoted to Finance Assistant in June 2022. Since then, she has completed her AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting - Level 2 and was promoted to Finance Coordinator.

She first realised she wanted to venture into the design world after spending time with a friend who was studying architecture.

Education

Portia achieved a BTEC Diploma in Business Administration and Certificate in Applied Law in 2022 and then her AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting - Level 2 in July 2022. She is currently studying the AAT Level 3 and 4 Diplomas in Accounting.
