Rachel joined Architype in 2016 and has experience working in various sectors on projects including heritage conservation, one-off houses and large scale place making.
Since joining Architype, Rachel has worked on the concept design for an exciting new leisure project for a coastal site in Wales, as well as an exemplary social, community driven residential scheme in Bristol. Rachel’s passion for architecture and design is chiefly concerned with embedding projects within their environmental and social context.
Rachel studied at the University of West of England, Bristol where she gained a dual degree in Architecture and Planning. She went on to complete her Part II at Manchester School of Architecture where she focused her studies on sustainability and contextualism. Rachel has recently become a fully qualified architect, graduating from Birmingham City University.
