Sebastian Fischer Stripp
Architectural Assistant & Passivhaus Designer
Sebastian joined Architype in 2020 as an architectural assistant and Certified Passivhaus Designer.
His interests lie in how to transition our present world of architecture to a more environmentally conscious future through new-build, but also through retrofitting existing building stock. Alongside this he is studying how data, big and small, can be used to influence our designs and decision-making process.
Sebastian is working on the technical Passivhaus aspects of Architype’s residential and school projects as well as collaborating with sustainability consultants on larger projects.
Sebastian undertook his Part 1 studies at the University of Bath, which included two placements. He took an additional year out to continue work with an architectural practice in London, graduating from the University of Bath in 2019. His thesis project was a Passivhaus Naval Rehabilitation Center on the Isle of Portland, focusing on sustainable ways of reintegration and stitching communities together.
