Tony is a Chartered Architectural Technologist and Certified Passive House Designer with over 15 years’ experience in practice.

Tony is passionate about creating comfortable and healthy buildings that enhance the well-being and productivity of the people who work, live and play in them. He believes that architecture can have a positive impact on the environment and society, and he applies his skills and knowledge to design sustainable and innovative solutions.

He joined Architype's Edinburgh studio in 2021 as a Senior Architectural Technologist. He left the company in 2022 to explore a new career path in energy performance and building physics. During this time, he worked on several projects that involved energy modelling and optimization. He rejoined Architype in 2024, enhancing the team with his expertise and passion.

Tony has led the technical design of several key projects across housing, community, education, and retrofit sectors, ensuring that they comply with the relevant technical standards and meet the client’s expectations and needs.

Education

Tony studied for his Honours degree in Architectural Technology at Edinburgh Napier University and graduated in 2009. He became a fully chartered member of CIAT and a Certified Passivhaus Designer in 2019.
