Laura is an Architectural Designer, joining Architype in 2017. During her time at Architype so far, she has worked on the design of a mixed tenure residential redevelopment in East London and more recently a large secondary school in Sutton, designed to meet Passivhaus standards.

Laura is primarily interested in community-led, sustainable design and has independently set up a design collective; Between Bricks, that focuses on low-tech, green and community initiatives.

Education

Laura studied her undergraduate in Spatial Design at the University of Plymouth which included an exchange year in Sapporo, Japan. She undertook her masters degree at the Centre of Alternative Technology in Wales, graduating in 2015 in Advanced Environmental Studies.
