Steve is an Associate Director in the London office with 16 years experience in architectural practice. Professionally, he has primarily been based in London but with spells working in Sydney and Cornwall.

Steve has worked on a range of building types and scales from large commercial developments in central London to sensitive refurbishment works and new build housing in the West Country.

Recently, Steve has overseen the delivery of two new-build SEN schools as well as developing a design proposal for prefabricated timber frame housing to the Passivhaus standard. He is currently working on a new build six form-entry secondary school in central London and a large extension to an existing secondary school.

Steve is a Passivhaus designer and finds the principles of the standard invaluable for producing buildings with minimal energy requirement.

Education

Steven completed his undergraduate and Diploma studies at the University of Edinburgh, one of the first courses to have a recognised sustainable design strategy unit.
